It was a privilege to have the Rite of Dedication for our School
Chapel yesterday celebrated by Bishop Paul Martin and Fr.
Kevin Wei. The students assembled outside the Chapel at
9:30am for the opening prayer, and the passing over of the
building documents and Chapel keys to the Bishop. This was
followed by Ken Joblin leading the Room 5 and some Room 4
students in a procession into the Chapel with the invited guests.
A special thank you to the following students for their roles /
responsibilities in the Rite of Dedication:
Alexander W-S, Jacob P and George K – Altar Servers
Daniel J – Responsorial Psalm
Lottie T – Chrism Oil
Cameron L – Lectionary
Morgan D – Lighting
the Candle
Following the Rite of Dedication for the School Chapel, Bishop
Paul blessed our new classrooms and placed a new crucifix in
Room 4 and Room 5. Thank you to Samuel M and Lola for the
Reading and Prayers of the Faithful.
This was a special event for our school and wider community.
